Our experience at The Marmorosch Hotel was nothing short of regal — a perfect blend of timeless elegance and warm hospitality that elevated our wedding weekend into a story we’ll never forget. A special thank you goes to Mihai Giurgi (Head of Sales) and his incredible team who went above and beyond in creating the most graceful and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. From the moment they stepped into the grand, historical lobby — once the vault of Marmorosch-Blank Bank, now transformed into one of Bucharest’s most luxurious boutique hotels — they were greeted with champagne, exquisite bites, and the kind of ambiance that feels like stepping into a chapter of the city’s golden age. The bride and groom reveals were perfectly orchestrated. Our guests were guided gently and warmly, every moment flowing effortlessly thanks to the care and attention from the staff. My bridal suite was beautifully prepared, with a heartfelt note and a small, elegant gift waiting — a gesture that deeply touched me and reflected the personalized experience Marmorosch is known for. One of the most memorable moments? Our groom & groomsmen photo session in the old vault, now preserved in all its mysterious grandeur. It felt like a cinematic moment straight out of The Godfather, captured in a space that still whispers secrets from its opulent banking past. If you’re dreaming of a venue that combines history, luxury, and genuine hospitality, The Marmorosch is a treasure in the heart of Bucharest. It’s more than a hotel — it’s a place where memories are made with style and soul.

The building itself, the headquarter of a former old bank is absolutely gorgeous and I really appreciate that they kept the style and the design from those old times in the lobby, restaurant and bar. We also really enjoyed the Vault bar, it is worth visiting even if you are not staying at the hotel - the cocktails were expensive but special but the design of the bar is what makes the experience worth it (it is placed in the actual vault of the former bank). The spa, although it was rather small, was very clean and well equipped and the massages were also very good. The rooms were very tall, bed was very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. Location is great, in the city center, close to everything. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely, well maintained hotel. Manages to blend modern comforts in a traditional and classic building. Staff very attentive and pleasant and happy to respond to inquiries in or out of the hotel. Spa nice, gym well equipped and clean. Rooms feel spacious, great pillows and very high quality linens. Wonderful breakfast with terrific variety to satisfy any palate including an omelete to order station and a la carte items included in the price. Hotel location is extremely convenient to a vibrant local scene in the Old City. Would definitely recommend and would seriously consider revisiting.

The Marmorosch is a fantastic place to stay for several reasons. The building itself is beautiful from both the inside and the outside and its history of being an old bank makes staying there very special - I would recommend checking out the Vault bar in the hotel, which is located in the actual vault of the old bank. Aside from that, the location is ideal for exploring Bucharest with lots of interesting sights, restaurants, bars etc within walking distance. The staff were very nice and helpful too and our room was very comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again.

Just a stunning lobby and lounge and staircases with marble, arches, stained glass, restored painting. Great location for touring Bucharest. Thoroughly enjoyed cooling off in lounge with wine and cocktails (it was very hot outside!), even though we didn't love the Vault bar in spite of how awesome it is (see below!). Relaxed in the spa - great temperature in the pool and comfortable lounge chairs. Our room was very nice and well taken care of!
